I took the first roll with the VSL3-E repaired in Germany, it works fine. It's a camera very comfortable to hold, perhaps the shutter release button travel is a bit long due to the second position to block the exposure memory, but you become used to it after some shots (the Pentax P30t has a separated button to memorize the exposure metering, but it was designed about 10 years later). Shutter speeds are continous from 16 seconds to 1/1000th sec, when the camera metering system measures or selects an intermediate shutter speed, the leds for the upper and lower closest speeds become "on" together. The automatic mode works choosing the f stop previously (a full automatic mode was thought for the Rolleiflex SL35 E, but there were several technical problems and the camera had the same system regarding the VSL3-E finally). The mechanical shutter speeds "B" and "X" (1/125) also work fine, shutter and mirror working is smooth. These two photographs were taken with the camera , the Rolleinar 2,8/135 and Kodak Ultramax 400 color negative film: http://www.flickr.com/photos/itarfoto/6945601392/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/itarfoto/7091669497/in/photostream/ Carlos --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
