- the turntables they advertise now say at Best Buy have a USB cord coming out the back of them which could make that a tad easier more direct perhaps who knows? I did transfer a few record cuts and tape cuts to my computer for my ITUNES and ipod I forgot how I did it it was 7 years ago. It was not with just just mentioned USB direct set up my turntable was just a few years before that. I thought I"d get a turntable for 99 buck I got a 99 dollar Sony But then I had to get a decent tone arm and that was another 99 But then I had to get a good needle and that was another 99. Which proved I didn't have to pay 100 dollars for getting my vinyl into my ipod. I have a Mac. You don't want to space out because then you have a filled up hard disk. You have to pay attention and not leave the room. I may have used Toast.
