Absolutely correct!  Richard may confirm that the Tessar design could
lend itself to front cell focusing, but the Sonnar f2.8 does not.

I currently use only one front cell focuser, the Super Ikonta B, and have
never noticed any paucity of sharpness in the corners of 12x12 prints.
