[rollei_list] Re: Subject: Rollei graduated sky filter in Efke 25 film sheet

Interesting info Ed, it's evident you had a significant career at specialized
and well known photographic magazins. It is not so strange famous people have
others persons writing articles they sign for magazins and newspaper, and then
the name "Mr Rollei" dedicated to Fritz Henle is deserved to Mike Kinzer in
part...

Fritz Henle was a friend of Claus Prochnow, he wrote (I hope Fritz Henle wrote
it this time)the preface for the Rollei Report 1 from Saint Croix, Virgin
Islands, in November 1992. There is in the book a Prochnow's portrait taken by
Henle in 1967 at the Prochnow work place and there are photographs taken in
Paris during 1938 by Henle; he emigrated to the United States in 1936.Fritz
Henle died in Saint Croix in January 1993 a few weeks after to write the
preface for the Rollei Report 1. A Rolleiflex 2.8 GX was the last Rollei TLR he
was using.
After to publish the Rollei books and due his work at Rollei for 36 years too,
some journalists started to call Claus Prochnow a new "Mr Rollei", but he
clarified that there was an unique Mr Rollei and he was Fritz Henle.-
