Jeff

No no! There is an intermediate composite piece, made by Op-Tech, that I rivet to the scissors fittings.

Jerry, do you rivet the "scissors" removed from the old leather straps to the OpTech nylon?

Jeff,

I have been attaching Op-Tech straps to Rolleiflex "Scissors" strap ends and supplying them to RUGers for years!

The OP/Tech straps do work great & I have one on my MX-EVS, however, some of the other old Rolleiflexes don't seem to have an easy way to attach a normal strap.

My suggestion would be an OP/Tech strap -- they are great for heavy cameras. These neoprene straps make any of the old, heavy classic cameras appear lighter-weght than they are...

I bought a small camera bag at a local store that is small and fits
one Rollei and some filters and a flash if needed. Made by Western
    Pack. Nice and relatively inconspicuous.
