We started with scanning, which is certainly important to Rollei folks,
but media-salvage is some distance OT?
Since the poster's address appears on list mail, I suggest that
conversations that go this far OT go just to the individuals.
Otherwise some folks might unsubscribe because of what starts to look

Sorry Kirk,
I just got carried away and will not post anything that doesn't have the
word Rollei in it any more. I surely wouldn't want anyone to
unsubscribe because any of my postings look like spam.
It's extraordinarily clear that I was far off base and I will never do it
again.
I thought that there was some concern in the scanning posts about
longevity and loss of data and thought I would add some comments on that
subject. That was wrong and I apologize for drifting so far
afield.
If it would please you, I will remove myself from the list since my
Rolleimarin sits around mostly un-used, and I have only one
Rollei.
