Shucks. Never thought much about it, as I
learned it from Mrs Hoffman in Fifth
Grade. Sagent = "thoughtful, wise-thinking,
perceptive". It is hardly a neologism, though I
am too lazy to dig out my OED to check the first date of its appearance.
I am hoping that you and your family can join us
for the Zeiss do down here in Chester in
May. Love to meet up with you kids again. Bring
your oboe: there are jazz bands in these hustings hungry to have you join in!
