The SL66 500mm f5.6 is a fantastic lens. If you find one at a sensible price,
go for it if you can justify it.
Fast lens, crisp image, lovely bokeh. Balanced enough for action sport ever
with prism, great for landscapes too.
With 2x converter, it's still fast and sharp. I'd like the 1000mm f8 on eBay
but definitely too much to pay!
The 250mm is f5.6 with 2x converter becomes a slowish lens but is easier to
transport.
