This very active thread ( no pun) has reminded me of the time my 2.8C case strap snapped in two. Let's face it - the cases not only had bad thread but the leather was pretty bad too. A now deceased local photographer made a good second income by cobbling up good wide leather staps with Rollei snap on strapends.

Either works. The hardest part is to estimate the length of the thread needed. Too long is OK but if the thread is too short you have to arrange a lock stitch on the first thread and start the other. Its not difficult but can leave a visible knot.-- Richard Knoppow Los Angeles, CA, USA dickburk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx- Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
