My Rolleicord Vb has a R'flex F type hood with mirror AND
the floating orange
mask under the screen.

Well, that's the difference between the old fixed hood
and the later replacable hood. My Rolleicord is a very
simple camera, which is one of its virtues. The curious
thing is that the auxilliary mirror in the finder started in
the early Rolleicord and was adopted for the first
Rollieflex Automat.
