The 1943 is not a date because 'T's were not available then. Also
there are a number of 'T's with this code
There are Reid cameras with W6/WF/****
I believe this to be a military procurement contract number. "W6/WF"
probably meant something along the lines of, "photographic camera"
and "1948" was probably the specific number for the contract under
which they were purchased.
