I agree ! I can attest to Paul Ebel as being an excellent repairman and a fellow Wisconsinite, but he is about 300 miles from where I am located he is near Minneapolis/St Paul. He has repaired a wide variety of cameras that I have used including Rolleis. His special expertise seems to be in the older type of cameras. I felt this way, and brought my TLR to a local person who said they could give it a full CLA for $125. It came back 3 weeks later reeking of greasy lubricants and oil, the shutter speeds had been corrected but the back lever was still very hard to move and the counter still stuck sometimes as did the film feeler. I called him up but he hardly knew what I meant when I described the still existing problems (which I had pointed out initially). 3 months later the shutter jammed and all became locked up. This time I sent it off to Paul Ebel in Wisconsin who, for $130, did a complete overhaul and even threw in a Rolleigrid screen for me. Now it works perfectly (and did not come back reeking of grease either!). Paul is one of the good ones, I'm sure others will recommend good people too. Do not wast you time and money like I did. Just pack it up and send it off to one of the masters.... Richard S. 0
