I have a Yashica 635 and a Rolleiflex 2.8F and I must say that the images are comparable. The yashikor lens on the 635 is a nice feel and result. -----Original Message----- From: rollei_list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rollei_list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of ERoustom Sent: Friday, April 18, 2008 7:30 PM To: rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [rollei_list] Rolleiflex Appreciation I just started tinkering around with a Yashica TLR (thanks Jerry), and while I'm excited to have it, and look forward to shooting it, I just thought I'd reflect for a moment on the perfection that is the Rolleiflex TLR. Optics aside (not that an amateur like myself could really take full advantage of them) the construction is truly a marvel. What a privilege it is to own one. Not ever having the ability to make the comparison before, I know enough not to be surprised, but I'm impressed even more.
