That Rolleimarin is a very interesting restoration project John; the
Rolleiflex 4x4 large dummy owner also wants to restore it, it lost the
paint and the leather but looks in good general condition, it's
aluminium made and it has the details about the 4x4 first model, it
has the name plate "Rolleiflex" engraved like the original an it seems
made by Franke&Heidecke, it's an empty dummy BTW and the "lenses" are
glasses with mirrors behind them to simulate lens reflections, it is
big indeed. My skill to restore something is almost 0, I suggested him
some commercial sites where he could find materials for his task, he
already was in contact with people that could help him with the
restoration better than me.

Rollei Werke/F&H voluntary liquidation process after a bankrupt
situation was from about June 1981 up to January 1982, some historical
cameras that belonged to the F&H Museum like the original 1928
prototype or the 7x9 and 9x9 prototypes were bought by the
Braunschweig Municipal Museum, other companies and private persons
bought parts, memorabilia, dummies, cameras, etc. the company that
repaired my Rollei/Voigtländer VSL 3-E a few months ago in Brunswick
bought spare parts during the bankruptcy process, the camera could be
repaired thanks to this fact.
