Yes, MACO ("Rollei" being just a leased label) like to do that every 
now and then. Sometimes the film stays the same and the label changes, 
sometimes the other way 'round. A glorified box-pusher, you might say.

I haven't. I got a "Jubilee batch" of Rollei 400 (Supposedly APX 400) 
and Superpan 200 (some Aviphot or other) a few years ago, when they 
would the numbers you ordered for free.

APX 100 is gone, apart from deep-frozen batches.

If you want to plan long-term, I guess Ilford would be your best bet. 
Adox (really FotoImpex) developed an APX 400 successor, but shelved it, 
because old stock keeps prices below anything that would be 
economically viable. Instead they went with the CHS 100 ||, building on 
the Adox/Efke emulsions.
