I'm 35. I have 7 Rollie's, a couple brownies, and a few 35mm.

I'm 46. I was too young to have been properly influenced when there was still

knowledge and experience that I could get my hands on ever since I discovered
what I'd been missing. Unfortunately, housing prices as they are, I've never
had the extra space to set up a darkroom, so my safety light is the power
indicator on an Epson scanner. Some day.

Are we all over 60? I see a bunch of us left 70 in the dust. My first roll
was verichrome 127 for a brownie.

The first roll of film I ever developed was Verichrome, done under a ruby
lamp by see-sawing it in a tray. I can still see the image slowly coming up

I'll bet everyone here over 60 or so have been there, I surely have.
I also had a small contact printer given to me by my dad who was away in the
navy.
I had a problem. I went to the local 5-10 cent store and bought a red light
bulb. It was far from a safety light. Finally realized that and bought a
real safety lamp.
