Jan, the different Rollei 35 manufactured by Rollei Fototechnik up to 2000 ( Rollei 35 "metric") use the PX 625 battery, it seems the mercury batteries were not an issue in Europe during the Rollei 35 manufacture and Varta Germany manufactured them till a few years ago. I have found a website in USA that sells batteries to replace the PX 625 1.35V: http://www.vintagebatteries.com/battery.html All the best Carlos --- Jan Decher <Jan.Decher@xxxxxxx> escribió: > What about the newer and expensive Rollei 35 > Classic?
