Hi Louis,
if the price is right, some damage may be tolerable. I just bought a Zeiss
Contina on the Local "EBAY Kleinanzeigen" and the original (Contaflex) metal
lens hood and Zeiss UV filter that came with it alone were worth the price
(€15). The camera looks nice, selenium meter works, but he shutter needs work.

a fine store and they sell items sometimes hard to find elsewhere (BTW they
currently have a lovely Rolleiflex Planar 2.8 for sale, it looks to be in
very nice condition). I think I will try and avoid sending the camera
overseas due to all the complexities mentioned. I had a CLA done on my
Rolleiflex T by a local technician (German) who did a fine job on it and also
repaired the shutter. I will talk to him and see what he says once I have the
camera. I will update you in due course and thank you all again for sharing
your experience.
