That is an incredible price for a common standard zoom, the 2.8 f stop
does not justify that price, anyway it was a lot more expensive than
the 4/80-200 second version, both brand new HFT Tokina: DM 1588 (1989)
and DM 498 (1989) respectively. I have the Rolleinar 4/80-200 first
version, Mamiya MC, there is a printing error in the Report IV, the
first version is Mamiya (MC), not Tokina and the second version is
Tokina (HFT), not Mamiya, I say printing error because the description
is right for both lenses, MC was the multicoating for Rolleinar-Mamiya
lenses and HFT for Rolleinar-Tokina lenses. This zoom is very good,
it's very sharp if you shoot 1/250 and faster shutter speeds camera
handheld, however it can produce a slight image distortion for square
and rectangular objects in the foreground shooting at the longer focal
lengths -150 to 200mm- with wide f/stops, it is imperceptible for most
people but I got it.

I have a Pentax 2.8/200mm tele lens from 18 years ago, I used once the
2.8 f stop and I rarely use the f 2.8 in the C Xenotar, this portrait
is one of the exceptions:
