Rick Oleson is very honest and helpful. I asked him years ago about an
older model of his screens for a Minolta Autocord and he told me that his
screens wouldn't be an improvement so save my money.
He has found another source for screens that are of very high quality. His
present screens have a microprism center area; I've had one and it is
bright, crisp, easy to focus, and the focus aid works well. Personally I
prefer a plain center screen so I use Mamiya RZ screens; I also cut them
and sell them to people. Neither the Oleson screens or the Mamiya screens
that I can provide are quite as bright as a Maxwell screen, but they are
darn close.
