I will differ too. For me it was the biggest PITA to change films. You could
really never do it quickly, or even as quick as the Minolta style hinged
door. So for me it was not worth it. God forbid you had to change rolls of
film in a hurry like at an event. You were dead.
Leica film cameras are pretty much a thing of the past anyway. So its a moot
point, but their stupidity really annoyed me. On one hand they claimed it
was done to ensure rigidity of the body, yet they did otherwise with the R.
Big bunch of liars.
