I'm still here! Been experimenting with Rollei QBM lenses on a Canon EOS-400D using an adapter from Hong Kong on Ebay. Not that straight forward (mounting is fine); the results are not what I would expect... ... metering, colour, contrast - all rubbish. Need more time to play. Probably to do with in-camera processing using data transmitted from the Canon lens not being available on a Rollei lens? Anyone else had experiences with this combination? There have been recent posts about telecentricity and how a DSLR records different meter readings etc. Interesting comparason using Nikon F5 and D700 at: http://fwd.five.tv/gadget-show/videos/challenge/challenge-blow-up-part-3 Although test parameters are not really disclosed and comments on this are at: http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=723753&; page=&fpart=&vc=1 John On 21/09/2009 12:45, "Elias Roustom" <eroustom@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Not much Rollei happening here either, but hello just the same. > > Elias > --- > Rollei List > > - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > > - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' > in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org > > - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with > 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org > > - Online, searchable archives are available at > //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list > > > --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
