yes it was called a graflarger. Would love to find one if anyone has a spare.
it replaced the back with a cold light source. POP material at the time said
imagine using the same lens to make an enlargement as you used to take the
picture...
flat field? Who cares...

Hi all,
Does anyone know whether there was ever any sort of adapter made to
enable a Speed (or Crown) Graphic - or a Busch Pressman - to be used as
an enlarger? By "adapter" I mean, a negative holder which would fit in
place at the back of the camera, plus a source of illumination behind
the negative holder?
Even if it could be then used only as a horizontal enlarger rather than
vertical, it might serve to enlarge negatives 30 to 100x.
