Hello Wayne:
There were two Proxar sets for the original
Rolleiflex. The first one was a 24mm clip-on  single element to use on
tripod, you focused changing the Proxar position between the viewing and
the taking lenses, however it couldn't be attached to the viewing lens, to
the taking lens only; it was made by Carl Zeiss from January 1929 to
January 1930; it had black mount and it had engraved "Proxarlinse" on
circumference. The second set for the original Rolleiflex had two elements,
a 28,5mm clip-on element for the viewing lens and a 24mm clip-on element
for the taking lens; it was made by Carl Zeiss from February 1929 to June
1932; the elements had brown mount and "Proxar" om inside cone (Data from
"Rollei Report 1" by Claus Prochnow).

Have searched far and wide for Proxar, or similar, for use on Original
Rolleiflex. Just received my CLA’d camera and love the results. Have Proxar
or Rolleinars for all my later models, and love using them. Was there a set
of close-up lenses (Proxar) for the original Rolleiflex?

Best,
