Robert and Jim, thank you very much. Jim, that's an excellent quick photo. Elias On Mar 14, 2007, at 7:45 PM, Jim Brick wrote:
I have a sheet film back for my Hasselblad and a couple of dozen film holders. The Hasselblad film cutter (the scissor version) makes easy work of cutting down any size film to 6.5 x 6.5. I have Nikor tank inserts that are specifically made for developing 6.5cm wide films. Here's a quick jpg of what I use (plopped on my desk and quickly photographed just moments ago with a tiny Sony T7):http://www.visualimpressions.com/cutfilmtank-1.jpg Jim At 04:22 PM 3/14/2007 +0000, eroustom@xxxxxxxxxxx wrote:I still have my finger tips, so I can also report that I reached into my light safe box, and cut film to size, and loaded two backs. I used a kitchen (plastic) cutting board, put the 4x5 emulsion down, and cut it to size with the plate adapter insert as a guide. This would be OT, but any suggestions on how to process these sheets in a spiral tank? I was thinking of using a weak rubber band to hold the film in a semi circle, and put two in per 16oz (450ml) tank. Thanks, Elias--- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx- Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
