Pistol Grip SL2000/3000 version is a very useful accessory for this range of
cameras too. I have not tried the SLX/6000 version, so cannot comment on how
it works with a heavy setup.
The 'looks like a movie camera' comment is very true with my SL3003.
I find it good for action photography because the hand is at a better angle
and height for panning. A bit like a rifle with 'pistol' handgrip.
