Aaron,

I must tell you that at work I have the very latest and best that Dell and Microsoft have to offer ( they view
Vista as an abomination). I spend a full day at it.

At home, I have the same, thanks to my daughter. I, unlike most of you all, do not consider working
at a computer as a hobby. It is a way to make a living, meager as it may be.

You need no special software to view a website, just a browser such as Foxfire or Netscape.

I seem to recall that Jerry is still making do with a Windows 3.1 computer surplussed out by HM's Royal McKamikaze Highlanders at the conclusion of the Second Boer War. This may limit his choice of web browser somewhat, and make "Web 2.0" sites impossible to view with older browsers.

Also, while pedantry is a habit totally foreign to the Rollei List, I must point out that the browser is in fact named FireFox. Foxfire is a curious bioluminescence phenomenon, as well as a wonderful series of books on traditional Appalachian life and culture. Fnord.

Best regards,
Aaron
