I must tell you that at work I have the very latest and best that Dell
and Microsoft have to offer ( they view
Vista as an abomination). I spend a full day at it.
At home, I have the same, thanks to my daughter. I, unlike most of you
all, do not consider working
at a computer as a hobby. It is a way to make a living, meager as it may be.

I seem to recall that Jerry is still making do with a Windows 3.1
computer surplussed out by HM's Royal McKamikaze Highlanders at the

browser somewhat, and make "Web 2.0" sites impossible to view with
older browsers.
Also, while pedantry is a habit totally foreign to the Rollei List, I
must point out that the browser is in fact named FireFox. Foxfire is a
curious bioluminescence phenomenon, as well as a wonderful series of
books on traditional Appalachian life and culture. Fnord.
