Carlos and Marc,I have one of those Kodak 1A cameras-- H0WEVER, mine has a f7.7 Kodak Anastigmat lens in a Kodak Ball Bearing Shutter. The camera belonged to William Ebenezer Rutherford,
my father in law. It even came with the proper Kodak cable release.I have used the lens in a Leitz Bellows II on my Leicas and in a Nikon Bellows PB-5 for my Nikon F2, right now. It is a superb portrait lens. I am amazed at how sharp it is!
I would love to mount the lens /shutter in my Hasselblad 500C/M, but I would be restricted
to use the Kodak shutter with speeds up to 1/100 second. Jerry Lehrer CarlosMFreaza wrote:
Thanks Marc for the info!. The lens has no data, in general it means it is a meniscus lens, Kodak anastigmat lenses always have name and data, it could be that my camera lost the ring with the data, but I have seen a lot of old Kodak cameras without lens data, the lens is always a menuscus for these cases. There is the number "2906" close to the lens-shutter.
