This question is for those among us with extensive knowledge of the motion picture industry. Do motion picture projectors in large theatres have the capacity to adjust the synchronization of audio and image? In other words, can the audio pickup be moved ahead of the current frame so that audio and image are synchronized to compensate for the perceptible audio delay in large theatres, when the speakers are in the front of the theatre? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this topic.

Best regards,
-Aaron
