/well said. Back in ther "old days" we at Pop Photo publised a story by a Mr. Delagee on using Technical Pan with a 35mm Leic Reflex. Wonderful results, equal, at least, to larger format Ed

Thor and RUG,

Use the proper tools for the specific job.

HOWEVER there has been great progress in "chemical photography":

I can now do equivalent quality work with a Leica and a Nikon F2
as I did with a Rolleiflex or Medalist 50 years ago.

I can now do work of equivalent quality with my 2.8 Rollei F and
my Hasselblad than I did with a 4x5 Graphic or studio camera 50
years ago.

Lenses are better, film is better, enlarging equipment is better.

Or have my eyesight and standards been slipping? Nah!

Another question from the peanut gallery :-)

As long as I can manage to carry my Rollei gear (yes, it *is* heavy),
I'll be using it for as much as possible.

However, for occasions where I just want something light in my bag on
the way to work (think Daniel), or when travelling to countries where I
don't want to risk the attention with the Rollei (i.e. South America),
I like to bring along a 35mm camera. Or when going to the playground
with my son (although I do on occasion bring along the Rollei...).
