Leica is not a good replacement for a Minox.  They representing 
different levels of commitment, and someone satisfied with the 
capabilities of  Minox would probably find Leica way too bulky and 
complex in operation.  A replacement could be a better approach, or 
perhaps something like the Olympus Stylus Epic, labeled Mju II in 
Europe, I believe.  They are an excellent value, if still available.
