Sit up and pay attention.

Ernst Letiz New York was nationalized by the US under the Alien Properties
Act of 1942.  ELNYstill had to supply lenses to its cusormers, so it turned
to Wollensak to do so, and they met the challenge.  This is quite well
documented.
