Hello Everybody,
My name is Louis Smit, I live in Coquitlam, BC in Canada. I have been invited
by Richard Knoppow to introduce myself to the group. I am a amateur
photographer who started out learning with Pentax film camera's and migrated to
point and shoot film and eventually digital. I am still very interested in film
and I found this group in one of my searches for Rollei information. I have
been very impressed with the high quality of discussions that have been going
on, and have already learned quite a lot!I inherited a Rolleiflex Model T with
a Tessar 75mm f3.5 lens that had not been used for probably 50 years. When I
got it, the shutter did not function. I had the camera CLA'd by a technician
here in Vancouver. The camera is otherwise still in quite good condition and
now works very well. I am very impressed with the quality of images that I am
obtaining with the large 6X6 format. Is the best way to share images via
Flicker?All the best.
