Re fixing a band is easy. Pour a liter of fresh fixer on a dish (paper style or plastic Tupperware if you've to) and gently rock the film in the dish. Remove the fixer and rinse the same. Changing the water often is better tha letting the film sit for hours. Then the last rinse with a drop of wetting agent added and then go to dry.

If I'm right apply for the other bands, if I'm not I _do_ apologize

Hi All,

I might try the re-fixing of the b&w negatives as Georges suggested. Maybe in Ilford Rapid FIxer this time, which has always worked for me while living in Vermont. Unfortunately, I already cut he negs into strips of three so will have to figure out how to thread them back on the reel.

Meanwhile I got the Portra 160 back, which I shot right after I unloaded the Neopan 400 in Leiden. Here are two examples from that roll scanned on the Epson 700:

Another Questions: Has anyone had the leather of the Rolleiflex TLR strap with the "alligator" replaced? Found a local leather repair man who is currently working on one of my two straps.

Best Regards,
Jan

Hello Jan,
It is hard to tell from the image on the computer, but to me the pattern
has a milky appearence whuch sugest improper fixing (to short a time or
exhausted fixer). It will cause no harm to refix a couple of images to
prove me right or wrong.
I've developed films (mostly Tmax 400 ) which has been Xrayed many times
in airports and which is out of date without any ill effects.
So try to re-fix the film and see what it gives.
Have a bright day !
