Thanks for your reply Carlos, from several things you said about metering
and spot meters it sounded like you don't understand the zone system, I
didn't want to point that out, but I stand corrected now that you have told
me that you do understand the zone system.
You are right that some people who use the zone system perhaps don't use it
very well. But, some who do use it well produce prints that are amazing, and
these are the people I want to measure my work against.
I like the tonality of your prints that I see on the internet by the way.

I know the Zone System very well and it's the cause I don't use it, the zone
system does not fit in my photography style. Ansel Adams was an admirable
photographer and I like very much his photographs, the zone system is a tool
and if this tool worked for him, that is OK.
BTW, I'm satisfied in general about my photographs technical conditions
despite I don't use the zone system, I can say that most of my photographs
have a better tonal performance than several photographs taken following the
zone system supposedly.
