Carlos, I would agree, the incident meter has to be at the right angle. The reading varies with the angle. It isn't hard to figure out, however, what angle gives the best results. This is especially true when you do your own printing. There's nothing like printing your own to help make you take better photographs and create better negatives to work from. Hi Eric: Incident metering is the more reliable method to measure the ligh t with a hand lightmeter IMO, except for some special and exceptional situa tions where the reflective method could be better or necessary;BTW, the inc ident method requires some experience to put the lightmeter dome in right position to obtain the exact amount of light and shadow regarding light and shadow in the scene considering the camera position, a difference in the a ngle of incidence of light and shadow between the dome position and the sce ne regarding the camera position could cause a bad meter read, otherwise th e incident light reads are very reliable, quick and comfortable.
