[rollei_list] Re: Looking for Rolleiflex F ... 3.5E flare

From my direct experience, I never found important
quality differences between the prints(10x10cm to
30x30 or 30x40cm) and slides taken with the Rolleis
TLR that I used intensively(considering similars and
different lighting (Rolleiflex 2.8C Xenotar,
Rolleimagic Xenar, Rolleiflex 3.5E Planar (five
elements)and now Rolleicord IV Xenar 3.5/75 -I'll see
the 3.5F-. I could see slight better performance for
the Xenotar at f/2.8 in comparison with the f/3.5 in
the bigger prints.
I think that the main issue about the old TLR is to
consider the way they have aged along the years and
then the specific model almost has not significance.
Each individual camera has aged different according
the use, maintenance and climate, it's very difficult
to do a distinction considering only the model today,
it's much more important the way the camera has aged.-

All the best
