I had a 3.5E, when I noticed flare for lighting situations that the lens (and camera) handled very good before, I looked through the lens with the shutter open and locked at B position and diaphragm wide open against a light source, I could see dust too much between the lens element; after I sent the camera for CLA (the lens was cleaned), the excessive flare disappeared. BTW the excessive flare also could be caused due to a damaged lens coating, pasted lens elements separation, scratches or a light seal tube loose or in bad condition.- All the best Carlos ___________________________________________________________ 1GB gratis, Antivirus y Antispam Correo Yahoo!, el mejor correo web del mundo http://correo.yahoo.com.ar --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
