I get shocked every time I look at the Associated Press
wire. I have four stents but no pacemaker. I have become
almost a vegetarian to try to prevent future problems. After
reading Dean Ornish, at the suggestion of my cardiologist, I
discovered that I can still eat some favorite things, if not
too much. For instance salmon. After considering it a great
delicacy for years I learned its very simple to cook. I am
in the process of losing weight again. Regained most of what
I lost a couple of years ago. I can't exercise as much as I
would like because of what has happened to my back and legs.
Still on disability. I will probably stay on that for a
while longer and then retire.
