I vehemently resent your assertion that I "dodged" military servitude.
I served 4 years in the ROTC
and then upon graduation. I was ready to receive a commission as a 2nd
Lt. The Army said " no, thanks,
we don't want you", in effect. They even said "Keep your uniforms but
turn in all your brass buttons and
emblems"!

As for medication prices, you folks who spent so many years dodging
military service might hold your silence. I rarely need medication
but, when I do need some, the VA supplies me needs at no direct charge
(we all pay every April 15th, of course). The VA provides really good
health care.
