Håkon,

Sorry to disagree with Jan but this is a 3.5C. The 3.5E2 has a removable
viewfinder hood. I do not know what the plate/card on the sports finder is – I
cannot read it ;-)

As to value, I have no idea but on the antiquecameras.net website page that you
refer to, the serial number range according to Prochnow for the 3.5C is
1,740,000 up to 1,868,999 (over three variants) and this web page says that
range applies to the 3.5E type 1 and type 2. Prochnow does not refer to a 3.5E;
the cameras went 3.5A, 3.5B, 3.5C jumping to 3.5F with the 3.5E2 alongside. The
2.8 series went 2.8A, 2.8B, 2.8C, 2.8D, 2.8E and 2.8F with the E2 and E3.

The ‘A’ designations have been ‘kicked’ about on these pages before, Carlos is
better qualified than me to comment in more detail.

John

Håkon,

Maybe $450 with case, cap, strap and instruction manual but not more for a 3.5E.
At least that was my rule in the US.

Best,
Jan

Looks like a 3.5 E2 Xenotar to me. I have the same camera.

Thanks Jan. Would it be worth $560 in good condition do you think?

This page http://antiquecameras.net/rolleiflex.html seem to think so.

I've asked for a serialnumber from the seller to confirm the model.
