In my experience, the Kodak HIE is by far the most sensitive to
loading/unloading.  I don't recall the current status with it's
production, though there was someone purchasing the aerographic
equivalent of HIE in bulk rolls and re-spooling.

It's rather expensive, but at least available.  I use Patterson plastic
tanks and have never seen any associated fog as a result.  

As far as loading, it may be a best guess.  I gather your model doesn't
have the film advance mechanism.  As for focusing, I always stop down to
a minimum of f8 for good depth of field.  

Konica 750 used to be made in limited production, once per year.  I
don't know whether it's made at all these days.  Maco may be the only
one left.
