I have no clue as to what you mean by "Arsat
lenses never licensed the Planar". I do have
fairly complete lens diagrams and statistics on
the 2.8/80 Arsat and I recall that it is
optically identical to the Volna-3, the
difference being in the lens mount and the
multi-coating. But I will have to dig these
up. We had a rather complete discussion of this
on the old Russian Camera List to which several
of us then belonged, but I believe the archives
of that List evaporated when the Webmaster killed it off.
