I have your beautiful pictures taken with the Velvia 50 and
Rolleiflex cameras published in our Rollei book, edited by Daniel Ridings
through Blurb. I found the Velvia 50 in Amazon and I bought it using an
e-shop that makes easier to import some little articles from abroad. Thanks!

I mainly use Velvia as my dull weather film. The images are high contrast
with satured colours. Mostly in Autumn and Spring. In very bright sunshine
Velvia may be somewhat over the top. It is a fine film for N.W. Europe,
probably not for Arizona. I expose at ISO 50. Some photographers expose at
ISO 40 to mitigate its character and to keep detail in the shadows.
It is difficult to get here too. Years ago I purchased a lot in 120
format. I still have some stock of the original formula (RVP) in my
freezer. The modern Velvia 50 is coded as RVP50 as your picture shows.
Have fun with the film and I am looking forward to see the pictures.
