My understanding is that the new Zeiss RF sales in Hong Kong, have been poor
to non existent. People opting for either CV equipment, or paying the extra
$s for Leica.

Marvin.

The new Sonnar ZM 2/85 costs $2,759, a high price for
a short tele lens, anyway it seems that the Zeiss Ikon
camera and lenses sales are good according some
comments in the web, in fact Zeiss and Cosina delayed
in part the camera availability to fulfill with the
orders placed previously(and for other part to improve
little details about the camera).
Interesting to note that the Zeiss Ikon camera basic
design was made by Henssler & Schultheiss, a design
bureau:

All the best
Carlos
