There was a group a while back that promoted the use of film and having it
processed and digitized.
COSTCO was mentioned a plce to go to have this procedure done.
Today, however COSTCO does not offer this service, and when they did their
scans were at 72dpi.
YIKES! Whereas 72dpi might be well and good for the internet (most monitors
only exhibit 72dpi) I don't think it works well for a 13 x 17 inch enlargement.
