-------- Original Message -------- Subject: [RASCals] New film replaces TP 2415 (fwd) Date: Fri, 10 Jul 2009 07:12:40 -0300 (ADT) From: Michael Boschat <aa063@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Morning all: From solar observers group.... I just tested a new film - ROLLEI ATP "VI" described as (ROLLEI ATP 1.1 on the web) for solar H-alpha. Its a really nice film, very high resolution, with anti-newton coating, sensitivity is higher in the red end than Tech Pan was (370 up to 700nm). Its much easier to process (no stop bath and twice diluted normal fix conc.). The film is more transparent than tech pan which makes for clearer scanning capability. Its about $7.00 per roll of 36 in Canada and is now plentiful. It is in 35 mm format. Has anyone else tried it?
