Dave,
’Stopped working’. Do you mean the film is running through without stopping at
frame 1? Have you used a different type of film? In that case change back to
your usual film and hopefully the problem is tackled. The film feeler mechanism
does not always work reliable with some makes of film. (Modern) films may be
too thin at starting point (paper+film+adhesive strip).

automatic film transport mechanism on my 2.8F has suddenly stopped working.
We won’t be in Florence long enough to do anything about it while here,
unfortunately. I know this is a long-shot, but does anyone happen to know of
