The last picture shows what in lesser cameras are called "Zeiss Bumps",, right?

The pictures are clear enough, couldn't you see them?

I see them now. Also I think what I thought was brassing was, after all, an artifact of the lighting. In one of the photos of the front of the camera the same effect makes it look like the accessory ring of the finder lens is brassed but the other photos show definitely that its not. There is clearly an orange light somewhere. I think what looks like the front trim of the shutter cover being peeled is also a figment of the lighting or out of focus photo. And NO I don't think the pictures are clear enough, they are pretty awful. I suppose everyone on this list knows what Zeiss bumps are although they could as well be called Graflex bumps. They may be caused partly by exposure of the camera to humid conditions because they do not seem consistent enough to be due exclusively to adhesive or something in the leather causing the brass screws to corrode.
