Hi Xuan, The camera looks quite well used but then it is quite old. The point that I noticed from the photographs is that the lens board name plate (around the taking lens) looks as if someone has tried to lift it off. This may have been done by an unqualified repairer (or DIY) trying to gain access to the lens/shutter. This plate is decorative and does nothing, so there is no reason to remove it. I would want to know more in case that repairer went further into the camera. If the plate fell off, because the adhesive failed, it would not have damaged edges. Why is the Mamyia Sekor lens included in the photograph? This will only fit the Mamyia twin lens cameras and is of no relevence to a Rolleiflex. You please see some photos about it: http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/9683/17en0.jpg http://img388.imageshack.us/img388/281/12kb3.jpg http://img387.imageshack.us/img387/4440/15ue9.jpg http://img388.imageshack.us/img388/8835/14jl6.jpg http://img387.imageshack.us/img387/8084/13qy7.jpg http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/7569/16su8.jpg You see. The camera & lens serial no. But in the last photo, the leather have some prominent points, maybe the leather had scaled off and sticked again, or the camera had been CLA or repaired something... According to you, the camera is good with price $850? Thank you very much! Maybe? >Best regards, >Xuan Truong The fact I mentioned 1960, 1961(my catalog and the catalog in the quoted URL are from 1961) and 1962 is because I know 2.8F Xenotar samples from those years. The Schneider site about age of lenses is reliable since it's the Schneider factory web site and if your Xenotar serial number is from 1964 according the list and if your camera lens was not replaced, we need to extend the Planar and Xenotar option at least up to 1964 (BTW, what's your Xenotar lens serial number and your camera serial number without xxx at least for the four firsts numbers?). Anyway, if your camera works fine and you obtain very good images using it, I can't see the problem if a Xenotar lens replaced a Planar lens. Carlos Yahoo!
